This 19-track live performance disc captures Puerto Rican singer Enita Nanzario at her passionate, dramatic best. Although Nanzario has dipped her toes in salsa and merengue, most of APASIONADA LIVE has the vocalist working in a vein that falls somewhere between adult contemporary and modern pop-rock. Sweeping power ballads (the radio single "Vengada" from the APASIONADA album, for instance) and songs with anthemic, hook-filled choruses are on order, and if the sounds of the enthusiastic crowd (who sing along with almost every lyric) are any indication, this should push all the right buttons with fans.
